Department of Water Resources

Grants and/or loans are available for water conservation, groundwater management, and studies and activities to enhance local water supply reliability. Project eligibility depends on the type of organization(s) applying and participating in the project and the specific type of study or project. More than one grant or loan may be appropriate for a proposed activity.

EduGrant

The purpose of the WEWAC EduGrant program is to improve and supplement academic instruction by providing financial support to teachers seeking to do creative classroom projects that increase students' awareness of the importance of water in Southern California. Land and Water Conservation Fund

The LWCF program provides matching grants to States and local governments for the acquisition and development of public outdoor recreation areas and facilities. The program is intended to create and maintain a nationwide legacy of high quality recreation areas and facilities and to stimulate non-federal investments in the protection and maintenance of recreation resources across the United States.
